This vessel is small, yet exquisite. Built to resemble a traditional Asian junk ship, it is named after the delicate Violet Chirita flower and offers a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Lan Ha Bay.
Due to the modest size of the Violet, there are only two types of room available. Deluxe rooms feature 20sqm of floor space, which extends out onto a 5sqm balcony, and an Italian marble bathroom with both a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi. The four larger suites feature 1930s inspired Indochina décor and plush king-sized beds with a massive 38sqm of space on the upper deck.
Enjoy creative Vietnamese fusion cuisine in the boat’s dining room, serving seafood fresh from the Mekong and take drinks up on the sun deck in the evening. It’s here on the top level of the Violet that you can also take part in Tai Chi sessions each morning.
- 17 cabins
- Jacuzzi
- Spa & dry sauna
- Dining room & bar
- Sun deck
- 24-hour security
The Paradise Luxury is the only junk boat in Halong Bay that offers a full spa service, making it perfect for travellers seeking a little R&R with the incredible scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the spa, you can revive your senses with an exhilarating ginger exfoliation or unwind with a warm stone massage. Beauty services include facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures, alongside a number of varying massages and body treatments.
There are seventeen traditionally furnished cabins, some of which have balconies for a private vantage point of the huge limestone karsts and the mirror-like water of the bay, while the Paradise Suite has a private Jacuzzi.
The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, so you won’t be taken far from the staggering views while you enjoy the Vietnamese and European fusion cuisine presented by the chefs onboard the Paradise Luxury. Take a kayak out around the calm, still water, before heading to the top deck for some sunshine and panoramic vistas to draw your day to a close.
- Two cabins
- Dining room and bar
- Sundeck
- Hot showers and hair dryers
With just two cabins on board its single deck, the slim Bhaya Legend II is perfect for small parties wishing for a more personal experience of Halong Bay. Explore the limestone islets and emerald waters with a highly flexible private charter catered to your specific requirements and personal interests.
Sleeping four passengers in total, the ship’s crew of captain, chef, deckhand and hostess will be on hand at all times to fulfil your needs. The teak-lined cabins themselves may be modestly sized, but are furnished in an inviting contemporary-Vietnamese style, complete with double or twin beds, crisp linen, hot-water showers and air conditioning.
From your comfortable berth, you can engage in a variety of pursuits; visit local villages, and witness the daily lives of villages from the waters, explore the underwater world with snorkels and scuba equipment and satiate your appetite with an al fresco dinner on your own private beach, before returning to the vessel for sundowners overlooking the bay.
- 24 cabins
- Dining room
- Sundeck
- Massage room
Reminiscent of the traditional Vietnamese junk boat, the elegant Jasmine is a large vessel which offers a range of amenities and activities for your tour of the UNESCO protected Halong Bay. The 24 cabins on board combine comfort with classic design and modern-day amenities, with accommodation ranging from superior and deluxe rooms to the regal Jasmine Junior Suites.
Besides quality cabins, this cruiser also provides a choice of dining options from laid-back BBQs on the terrace to the formal dining room where you can enjoy delicious cuisine alongside panoramic bay views. What’s more, the wide sundeck offers another spot to take in the archipelago’s vistas and is where the cruise’s Tai Chi lessons take place.
Adventurous activities are covered here visits to local fishing villages, cave trips and more while expert therapists are on hand in the massage room to pamper you after a day of exploring the enchanting islands.
Sail along Halong Bay, the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site which boasts emerald waters and stunning scenery. As you drift along the islands look out for charming caves, grottos and sandy coves.

A sunset river cruise with a difference as you get to try your hand at casting nets like the Vietnamese fishermen and learn to paddle the round basket boats. After you’ve mastered the trade and beck to Hoi An, you’ll see the fishermen boarding their boats and heading out to the Cua Dai Sea as you enjoy a cool drink and watch the sun drop over the horizon.
Hoi An has been a world heritage site since 1999 and its charming old town has provided some of Vietnam’s most iconic images. If you would like to capture some of your own special photos, why not join a professional photographer and make the most out of your Hoi An visit? With some years resident in Hoi An, the photographer has explored each narrow street and ancient shop-house to know the best locations available. Etienne will escort you on a customized tour, delivering shot suggestions and instructions on how to improve your photography technique. You will be met in your hotel at 3.30pm and transferred to the old town where you will meet the professional photographer to enjoy a drink and a chance to talk about photography. A boat will then transfer you to a remote farming village along the river. Surrounded by rice fields and the river, it offers many opportunities to capture the daily life of workers, highlighted by the setting sun. Buffalos are grazing in the background, as well as small boats where people are cast net fishing. This scene is particularly impressive during the rice planting or harvesting time. Within the village, you will be more than welcome to capture portraits of old people and children playing. Stop to share a cup of tea or a glass of cold beer with a local family, and also to discuss about your shots and photography technique so far. The boat ride back to Hoi An coincides with the time when the sun offers its best colors, until twilight when you will return back to the old town and farewell the photographer. Return to town where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
