The Alila Villas Koh Russey are located within the beautiful Koh Rong archipelago, a tranquil hideaway perfect for a few days of relaxation.
The resort is made up of 63 pavilions and villas, all with private terraces and garden or beach views. The villas, which feature one, two or four bedrooms, have private pools, and for bigger groups looking to go all out, there is a four-bedroom beach estate. The grey cubic buildings are minimalist in design and the mix of steel, wood and volcanic stone with light coloured fabrics and silk weavings gives a comfortable but contemporary finish. High ceilings and bay windows ensure plenty of natural light and each building is surrounded by lush gardens filled with indigenous trees and plants.
Horizon is the resort’s beachside restaurant where guests can enjoy French and French fusion cuisine, while the Beach Shack is a more casual all-day dining venue showcasing Khmer favourites as well as fresh fish cooked on the grill. Many of the fruits, vegetables and herbs are grown in their organic kitchen garden.
There is a beautiful outdoor pool facing the beach, a small gym, a yoga studio offering complimentary classes, and a spa. When you’re not relaxing at the resort, explore the island, relax on the private beach and swim and snorkel through the crystal clear water.
