The Serengeti is a vast area , of around 12,000 square miles, spread over a number of reserves and areas. It’s most famous residents, the herds of Wildebeest and Zebra that form the great migration, mean that depending on the time of year, you might want to be in a specific part of this great territory.
This area of the Serengeti is home to the Great Migration in June and July as the animals journey north.
There’s also a great population of resident wildlife here, meaning good game viewing all year round.
