A small and upmarket guesthouse in the town of Swakopmund, that offers a very charming and friendly service to make you feel at home.
The house was built around 1908; however the building has undergone a modern refurbishment and represents a blend of colonial furnishings and Italian touches, added in by the owners Amelio and Claudine. Each of the seven rooms have been designed to offer a unique blend of antiques and modern design, with large, colourful paintings hung from the walls.
For families there is an additional wing, housing two larger rooms that can be connected. The Lady Hamilton room opens out onto views of the garden and has its own comfortable lounge. The arty Lord Nelson Room is the second room and can also be accessed through the garden.
The members of staff make this a special place to stay, there are a total of fourteen members of staff to deal with just eight rooms, and they go that every mile to ensure that you have a very memorable stay.
The restaurant II Tulipano provides a culinary delight, the owner Amelio learned to cook at one of Italy’s top catering schools and is incredibly passionate about food.
