Located on a private conservancy of 6,000 acres, in the shadow of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro, Tawi Lodge is a wonderful base from which to explore Amboseli National Park.
There are 13 cottages spread across the property, each with a private wooden verandah that looks out towards the mountain. Four poster beds and fireplaces ensure they are
the comfiest of retreats to retire to after a day tracking game in the park.
At the main lodge, guests can relax in the lounge or bar, enjoying a refreshing sundowner as the local elephants, impala, zebra and kudu take theirs too at the local watering
hole. Fresh, organic produce is used to make dishes that are a fusion of Swahili and European cuisine. The bush lounge moves around each day, but you can always be sure of
great views as you enjoy a drink surrounded by the sounds and smells of the African bush.
There is also an outdoor swimming pool and wading pool, as well as the option to indulge in a relaxing massage treatment.
