Mapula Lodge is located in a concession of over 220,000 acres within the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta. The camp itself is located on a large island at the edge of a seasonal floodplain along the Selinda Spillway – the river that connects the Delta with Linyanto.
There are nine canvas and thatch cottages nestled among the trees, complete with en-suite bathrooms featuring flushing loos and indoor and outdoor showers. The main area consists of a small library, dining area and a swimming pool.
There is also a sunken area known as the ‘chill pit’ from which to relax and look out over the lagoon and its resident pod of hippos.
Whatever you want your luxury tour or safari itinerary to include, we’ll create something fully bespoke for you… and only you.
