The marshes are renowned for attracting large populations of elephant and buffalo during the dry season, along with lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, the rare sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile, as well as other species of plains game. The area also offers spectacular birding all year round. Activities from the camp include of game drives, walking safaris, night drives, and, water level permitting, mokoro trips, boating and fishing.
