We loved all of the hotels we stayed in. The Rio Sagrada Hotel in the Sacred Valley, and the Titilaka Hotel at Lake Titicaca stand out as truly exceptional.

My mastery of my mother tongue is not sufficient for me to adequately express how much we enjoyed our vacation. The locations were perfect as was the ordering. Rest assured that the name Costa Rica shall not soon pass my lips without being followed in short order by Anna Mascaro and Jacada Travel surrounded with appropriately laudatory adverbs and adjectives.
El Silencio had the best food. The wildlife at Rio Lapas was stunning. I was amazed every morning when the birds would start precisely whistling the opening of one of my favorite songs from my youth, only to be followed by the Howler monkeys sounding just like the ruling party's back benchers expressing their support for the Prime Minister's clever retort to a potentially embarrassing inquiry during question time.
Punta Islita was the perfect place to end our trip and getting there was somewhat exciting.

Our guide at Machu Picchu was absolutely fantastic. She told us that she loved Macchu Picchu and felt it was her second home. She had her own folder of photos that she showed us with some snaps that she had taken herself at certain times of day to help clarify the importance of position of buildings in relationship to sun.etc. In the meantime other guided tours were passing by totally oblivious to where they were, so we felt lucky she was so good.

Working with Anna was very easy. She was responsive and adjusted the itinerary as well as recommended hotels, schedules and activities. I would definitely use Anna/Jacada again and recommend her to friends and family!

The game drives were exciting, we loved tracking the animals down, imaging the sense of accomplishment when we finally spotted them in the end. We managed to see all the big five plus a rare sight of hippo as it walked out of the water. The rangers tried their best to get us as close to the animals as possible. The children developed such a fond bond with the rangers over the few days and still mentioned their names when we were back.

Byron was super helpful and easy to deal with, he quickly figured out what we were looking for in our adventure to Africa and did an impeccable job in matching venues/activities to our needs! We always felt safe and comfortable. The drivers had so much to share with us. Time flew by as we traveled because their dialogue was so interesting.

The hotels were all excellent. The one in Cusco was one of the most remarkable I've ever stayed in.
The horseback trip at Urubamba was perfect for our first day at high altitude. We saw a lot, it was nicer than driving around, and it wasn't physically taxing. Some people were doing nothing their first day.
The guide we had at Titicaca, Julius, was the best I've been with anywhere. He lived for 9 months on Taquile island, doing a report for UNESCO. The interaction set up with the people on that island was really respectful, natural. It happened on the quiet side of the island, away from the more commercial restaurants. I learned a lot, and didn't feel like an intruder.
All in all, it was a spectacular trip. Thank you!

You had asked to know how our trip went while in Peru, so here I am! My husband and I could not be happier with Jacada. Your agency have been perfect - efficient, personal, professional, and first class. I had not heard of Jacada before this, but the website made me think it would work for us. Anna showed me that I was on the right track, and you have only reinforced it. All the billing etc was easy, and the hotel choices were spectacular. Your booking recommendations for Peru were perfect.
All our guides were on time, spoke fine English, were well dressed and informative. One of our drivers had to wait 1.5 hours as we went through customs... Plus they took great care of us when the miners' strike hit Puno and we had to drive and stay in Cusco on the busiest night of the year.
Our two guides, in particular Lizzie Pacheco Caceres in Arequipa, was unbelievably good. She is conscientious, loves the Colca Canyon, walked with us everywhere, and is incredibly knowledgeable.Our other guide for Machu Picchu, Jorge, was very good to have. We appreciated having him for all the transfers and getting us there and then settled. He was very knowledgable about the citadel and area.
All in all, we had a fabulous time; everything went off like clock work and Peru is an unbelievably interesting country. We would love to take a trip to Northern Peru sometime, and if we do, we will contact you.

We came back from South Africa last week and believe me, we had one of our best vacations ever. Everything was superb!!! Ellerman House, La Residence, Singita Boulders, the transfers and the guides were all worth every penny.

Our Amazon Cruise aboard the Aqua was fabulous. I cannot recommend it highly enough for everyone: the planned activities were absorbing, the staff very professional and the food was superb, like a floating 5-star restaurant!
Our guide in Rio, Marcelo, was awesome; very attentive and he gave us some great suggestions for places to visit and eat since he lives in the area and therefore had a great perspective. We loved Uxua too, so beautiful and the staff were so attentive. We had the best time.
The recommended restaurants in Cusco and Lima were fantastic! The whole trip was really impressive - very smooth travel, no problems, and both relaxing and romantic. Just what we wanted.
My (and my wife's) experience was so excellent, there is nothing you could do better, and I would (and have) recommended your firm to anyone that wants to travel. We had to make last minute changes, because my wife became pregnant, so we couldn't travel to the amazon or iquazu falls as originally planned, within less than a week to travel, George revised our travel arrangements to have us go to Buzios, we are actually even glad that we made the change as everything he planned at this alternate location was exceptional, and we are so impressed at how quickly George was able to react to our problem. Also every place we visited, and every hotel that was recommended and booked for us was exceptional.
Marcello was our primary guide, in Rio and also driver to Petropolis and Buzios. He is the best, better experience than I could have imagined, way more than just a driver or a guide! He tailored the day tours as we went along, as he observed what interested us the most and maximized the experience for us at every opportunity.

A great holiday with very good support and arrangements. We were given great treatment throughout the trip and the "icing on the cake" was Buenos Aires. We would certainly recommend Jacada Travel to friends. George has been very, very helpful and responsive.

The service that I received was excellent and I thought that your rep was very patient as I started the enquiry last November and we did not finalise until January as I changed my mind several times. I would also like to add my thanks to your staff for going beyond the call of duty to cater for a really odd request from myself during my stay in Brazil. Even when I had left the UK they still carried on until they had arranged an ad in the local press at Natal and informed me of my options in Buzios. In all the service we received from Jacada was excellent and I would certainly use your services again and recommend you to others.

Just thought I'd check in from Bariloche. Southern Patagonia was marvelous! Both the Perito Moreno glacier trek and the Estancia Cristina discovery tour were amazing. The weather couldn't have been better and being on the glacier was an unforgettable experience. I loved Los Sauces as well. Had three nice dinners in El Calafate - the best two being at La Tablita and Casimiro Bigua. Estancia Peuma Hue is amazing as well. I love it here. Been on two hikes with the dogs and rode a horse for the first time. Love the staff and met some great fellow travelers too.

Anna Mascaro is a rock-star. Even though she was thousands of miles away, we felt we had her attention throughout the trip. She fixed all the usual little snags that come up in a trip like this. All the support -before and during- was outstanding; and every location was fabulous. Every person on the trip, from age 5 to 66, had a wonderful time in each location. Having our own villa, complete with our private plunge pool and our own golf cart to get around at Punta Islita was amazing. I would rate the trip a definite A-plus.
We think Latin America works well for us at this time because it is far enough away to be exotic and interesting to everyone, but not too far and there is no big time-zone crunch. We have heard the Galapagos are amazing, but I would be happy to hear what Anna might want to propose, keeping in mind we would like the same mix of "indigenous interaction" and activity on the front end, and luxurious beach at the end. We loved how warm and swimmable the Pacific was on the Nicoya peninsula. We would like to take another Saturday-to-Saturday trip, all seven of us - never too soon to start planning, as the anticipation is really part of the trip! Best to all and a big thanks!

Before too much time had passed, I wanted to let you know that the trip was a smashing success - you listened to what I wanted and arranged a trip that I could not have organized on my own. Your expertise (and obvious love of Costa Rica) added significant value to our trip and gave us many more good experiences and memories than we would have had without your help.
I should also point out that the intelligence and creativity of the itinerary only became fully apparent as we executed it. I won't waste your time covering those decisions point-by-point (because you are already more familiar with them than I am), but I did want you to know that I recognize how skillfully you solved the puzzle I presented you with.
One of your decisions, though, bears mentioning. The idea of sending us to El Remanso was fantastic--it was exactly the sort of place we would have chosen (had we known it existed) and even the difficulty in reaching the property added to the experience. BUT...your decision to put us into the "La Vainilla" cabin transformed the experience from something unique and excellent into something that was almost beyond comprehension. There are very few travel experiences in the world that will compare to waking up in the top floor of that open air (and sublime) upstairs room. I and my family can't thank you enough for that gift.
On a more practical note, the logistics of the trip also earned an A+. Every single transfer and event happened exactly as planned. Even when we weren't sure what the next step was, all of the providers had a crystal clear understanding of what we were supposed to do and when to do it. All of them were commendable and we would recommend any/all of them. There were zero problems. None.
By the way, your reputation in Costa Rica is superlative. We spoke with the owners at Gaia and El Remanso -each asked how we found them and each responded very positively when I mentioned your company

We had a splendid trip George. Everything worked put well thanks to your help. First of all Silvana, our guide in Buenos Aires was terrific. The Legado Mitico likewise was great as far as service, friendliness and helpfulness with all our requests and reservations. It even came with a friendly playful cat!
The Finca Adalgisa was also super in those respects and had a lovely winery for evening drinks and snacks. This trip was a truly remarkable experience. We felt very prepared for the trip and it truly exceeded our expectations in many ways. Prior to the trip, we did not believe we would ever want to venture back to South Africa. However, after this trip, we truly feel that we will return and experience the country again.

I got back from the Galapagos today and I just had to tell you how FABULOUS it was. The best holiday ever. I cannot speak more highly of the Grand Odyssey. Our cabin was spacious and very comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the crew were really first class. They looked after us brilliantly and the whole operation was run very smoothly so we were completely spoiled. Each day was different, special and memorable, and we did and saw so much. The itineraries were busy – our first excursion each day would start no later than 7.30am and we’d have 3 or 4 activities each day, so I really felt like we saw and did as much as was humanly possible. After most excursions, we arrived back on board to be welcomed with a drink and snacks and the hot tub ready, so it wasn’t all hard work! The two guides (a different one for the two legs) were both outstanding in knowledge and experience, which meant we saw a lot and learned a lot.
Thanks again for the really superb service you have provided. You were terrific at answering all my many questions and getting back to me very quickly, and I loved all the little touches like the postcards and the little black book. I'm very glad I found you and I'll certainly be using Jacada again in future wherever I can. We had an awe-inspiring trip and I wanted to write you a note to thank you for all your hard work to make our trip live up to our expectations. Our private guide at Cerro Guido (Pedro) was a true naturalist and he was most attentive to our needs. When we were in Rio, Mathias was a fantastic driver and guide. We felt really ‘looked after’ and as it was our honeymoon, it was lovely not to have to worry about anything. Indy was our guide in Iguassu, and again, her knowledge and expertise was fantastic. It was certainly a luxury for us to have a private guide and driver, but it made our honeymoon completely stress-free and relaxing, without missing out on all that there is to see in Brazil.

I would certainly recommend Matteis in Buenos Aires as he's so excited about the city and by far my favourite destinations were Patagonia and Iguassu - both for the whole experience and the hotels themselves. Los Sauces is stunning in fact! Overall definitely an amazing trip!
Thanks to the team for handling a challenging situation with the strike in Chile and ensuring the smallest amount of inconvenience to our holiday. Having spoken to many other people impacted by the strike it was very clear that Jacada out performed all the competition
The guides provided by Jacada for our excursions at El Calafate (Mercedes)and Peninsula Valdes (Diego) were extremely good and very attentive, and the guide at Peninsula Valdes really went out of his way to ensure that we got as much out of our visit as we possibly could. And it was really helpful that both these guides spoke such good English, and were very knowledgable.

While it was not cheap, don't get me wrong, it was worth every cent. We loved it there and are hoping to return some day
For us the trip was terrific! Everything went smoothly and our grandson could not have been more excited. We had fine food everywhere and the hotel Alvear in Buenos Aires was certainly first rate. We had fine weather except for our first day in Buenos Aires when it rained the whole day. After that weather was fine. Torres del Paine was wonderful and Jonah and I must have taken 4 thousand pictures between us.
All drivers were courteous and safe (big plus in Argentina!) Transfer agent who handled us in Buenos Aires (called Matthias) was very friendly and helpful, even walked us to our gates at the airport and insisted on wheeling suitcases for us...very nice guy. Very pleased with Jacada's organisation of our trip - can't really find fault with anything.
We had an amazing time in Argentina - thanks again for all of your help in arranging the trip!! We were very pleasantly suprised at having a driver and a guide pick us up and drop us off at every stage of the trip - it really made things very easy for us regarding check ins and such.
We had an AMAZING time in Brazil! Everything turned out beautifully and we absolutely loved Buzios, the Amazon, and Rio. This trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Excellent hotels, drivers, guides, etc. Two staff members who stood out in particular were: 1) Ricardo, who drove us from Buzios back to Rio on the evening of Tuesday, December 23 (he was subbing for Marcel, who had another commitment), and 2) Silvio, our primary guide at the Anavilhanas Lodge in the Amazon. We learned so much about the culture, people, history, and environment of Brazil from these two very knowledgeable and well-spoken men. The only slight downside of the trip was the food in the Amazon, which was not the most flavourful. Everywhere else, we really enjoyed the food and tried a lot of your recommendations in Buzios (LOVED Bar do Ze) and Rio (REALLY LOVED Carlota and Sushi Leblon). Also in Buzios, the crepe place, Chez Michou, was quite yummy.

I want to reassure you that I had a wonderful, best-ever trip. I absolutely fell in love with South Africa and with all three of the properties you booked for me. The drivers and tour guides were exceptional. The trip was flawless. Incredibly beautiful rooms, fabulous food, breathtaking scenery, all the animals I could wish to see, and perfect weather! You were absolutely correct in that Jabulani, in this company of fabulous lodgings, stands out in every detail. The decor of the rooms and the public areas is incredibly beautiful and the food!!! Chef Andre is very talented and every morsel that went into my mouth there was exceptional. I could do with my own private plunge-pool here at home! I ended up being the only guest there for most of my stay, which made the whole experience surreal in its perfection. I was joined for meals by my ranger, JP, who was a wonderful companion. Going from there to the bustling Lion Sands was a bit of a transition, but worked out perfectly. A little solitude followed by some good social times and good companions. All of the properties were fully accessible and very easy with the scooter. I got to not only ride Jabulani, but had a private meet-and-greet session with him and one of the babies.
Thank you for helping me to have the trip of a lifetime. Now, of course, I want to do it all again.

I started working with Tess last July, after I came across your

Every detail was covered… and perfect. Words cannot adequately describe how surreal it felt sitting in a mobile tent, on the Serengeti, on my birthday, drinking Champagne and eating cake. Really! Kudos to George Warren for planning such a perfect trip to Buenos Aires and Patagonia for my son and me. At the outset George asked a lot of questions, and he consequently crafted a trip that met our interests and desires perfectly. The locations were unique and offered us all the sightseeing, trekking and outdoor sports we desired. George selected outstanding hotels that fit our needs and style. Since he lived in Argentina, his recommendations on restaurants, sights to see, and activities were spot on. It was a unique experience for us.

Flight due to depart BA in 2 hours. It has been a great trip. The Legado Mitico and it's staff made for a great place to call home for 4 nights. Our guide Silvana, and Ali in Uruguay were informed and very attentive to our needs. We ate at Don Julio and La Cabrera, plus we really enjoyed the tango show and actually did a lot of walking in the city. The renovated Colon Theatre is spectacular.
But the real treat has been Sebastian's estancia. You really planned this trip well for us. The last day and a half has been a great unwind.
And lastly, we will stay in touch because at this point we are thinking we might like to do more South American travel.
In the meantime, thank you from both of us and take care.

I just wanted to thank Byron in particular for helping to design a honeymoon that my wife and I will never forget. We placed him in a difficult spot by asking him to put together an itinerary only a month from when we wanted to depart, and after several patient phone calls, he came through with flying colors. The choice of hotels, the restaurants, the guided tours were all fantastic and we could not have asked for a better experience. Out of all of the travel agencies we have used over 20 years, Jacada Travel is by far the best. We were impressed with the planning stages, the actual trip and our journey home.
There wasn't an experience we did not like. Except maybe it was too short..

Our guide and driver in the Arenal were particularly good. Roy took us on a hike to the volcano and tailored the walk to our needs. He was very knowledgeable about all the area and the plants and animals. Our drivers were excellent considering the nature of the roads, and we felt very safe with their driving.
We really liked the Rosa Blanca - such a different hotel with excellent accommodation, great food and very good service. Such a peaceful and relaxing place too.

Everything in this trip was perfect. From the moment I arrived at the airport in Lima where I was picked up by the friendliest guide and driver; the lovely hotel in the Sacred Valley, the visits to all the villages and markets in the Valley, the unbelievable two days in Machu Picchu, the beautiful Monasterio Hotel in Cusco and the experiencies in the city, until the very last day in Lima. Everything worked out just perfect. I loved all the hotels that Anna Mascaro, my travel designer, picked for me. The restaurant recommendations were superb, the tours and visits wonderful. I will recommend Jacada to all my friends and people who have an interest in Peru or other places around the world.

The trip was fantastic, beyond our even high expectations. The numerous connections all took place flawlessly and the accommodations and food were superb at every camp. We especially liked Little Mombo, but Ulusaba and Xudum were great as well. Azura in Mozambique was of course entirely different; beautiful in all respects and a great way to wind down from the 5:30 AM game drives - especially if you like deserted beaches with spectacular views.

George Warren is exceptionally good. He ensured that my wife was made to feel very special. On her actual birthday literally every member of staff wished her Happy Birthday at Casas Brancas, even the kitchen staff!

He also provided additional information up the time of departure over the weekend keeping us informed during the Spanish air traffic control strikes in case our flights were going to be disrupted. All of our three guides, (Cielo, Cecilia and Marta) and our drivers, (especially Carlos in Mendoza) were brilliant. They were friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy and all slightly mad!

(We have Argentinian Tango lessons here on the UK and have seen a tango show before, and what we really wanted was a more authentic experience , which we got at the Milonga.) We also had some great meals at restaurants recommended by the hotel staff and in our Jacada guide book

The "futbol" was so entertaining I think we got the best match of the week 5 - 1 to Lanus (v Independiante) - the fans are mad aren't they! Loved it. The hand gliding was the best thing we have ever done, it was scary to throw yourself off a mountain (considering that I am so afraid of heights), but when you were airborne it was wonderful. We each have a dvd of our individual flights.
