Lorenzo guides all our ornithological tours in the lake area around Bariloche and in areas such as Peninsula Valdes and Calafate. As a veterinarian on an estancia in northern Patagonia, he has been observing the local condor population for many years. He co-ordinates a Post-grad study on condors for biologists from the University of California Santa Cruz. His personal project, carried out through the local conservation NGO, is a very successful condor population assessment using over 50 volunteers in simultaneous counts across regional roosting sites.
