The Argentine lake district is a beautiful, picture-postcard region of snow capped peaks, forested slopes, crystalline lakes and rivers. This is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors with all manner of outdoor activities possible including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golf, horse riding, kayaking, mountaineering, rafting and skiing (in season).

The hotels and lodges we've carefully selected are in one of two areas; either in the Bariloche area (though well outside the city itself and in the pristine nature of the surrounding area); or in Villa La Angostura, a beautiful picturesque village set just a couple of hours drive from Bariloche. Development here has been slight and very well controlled, making this a place for seclusion and relaxation.
