Tayrona National Park is one of the world's most beautiful beach destinations, where lush tropical rainforest meets the sandy beaches and clear blue waters of Colombia's Caribbean coastline. It makes for a perfect combination of beach relaxation and exploration of the jungle in the area (home to more than 100 species of mammal, 200 hundred species of bird and many reptiles).

Exploring further into the rainforest, there is evidence of the ancient civilizations that once lived here. The jungle has several archaeological sites which can be explored.
