As well as being home to some of Brazil's most beautiful beaches, the inviting waters of Pipa are home to rich marine life including turtles and dolphins.

Apart from exploring the beaches themselves there are numerous other activities here, making this a good choice for those that need more than just beach or pool to stay amused. Even though tourists come here in numbers, development has been well planned and controlled, and with the town of Pipa a pleasant and enjoyable place to explore, with many different restaurants and bars to sample.

Tours can be easily arranged to the 'bay of dolphins', through mangroves and stopping for a snack of fresh oysters before watching the sunset over the lagoon.
