Estancia Rincon del Socorro

Estancia Rincon del Socorro is one of our favourite estancias in all of Argentina. It's difficult to imagine a more perfect base for exploring the wildlife rich wetlands of the Esteros del Ibera.

You arrive by light aircraft, touching down just a short walk away from the estancia. The restoration work here has been immaculate and all the rooms (as well as the communal areas) are decorated with period antique furniture and fixtures, with the walls adorned with original prints of famous wildlife photography and antique maps.

The service is impeccable as there are only a few rooms here with a very personal treatment for all the guests. Daily activities will be planned around you, rather than the opposite. Excursions include trips by 4x4, on horseback or by boat across the lagoons. There is also a pool to relax by when not exploring the region.

The food here is superb, serving a contemporary take on hearty rustic cuisine. Guests are invited to enter the kitchen and meet all of the friendly staff preparing their meals, all part of making everyone feel very much at home in this most special of estancias.

The entire estate, comprising of three estancias has been made into a vast protected space with research facilities and programmes to reintroduce species into the area.
