One of the most traditional authentic Patagonian experiences in the El Calafate Region, Hosteria Alta Vista is set in the huge grounds of the working Estancia Anita, with 165,000 acres of sheep-farming land. The charming residence was originally built as a private home for Yugolslavian Pioneers in the 1930s. This is a small lodge, with space for up to 15 guests only. Decor is traditional and in keeping with the historic and homeley character of the property. Facilities include a lounge bar and a cosy dining room.

The location is good, based between the town of El Calafate and the glacier itself and is accessible all year round. Guests can enjoy the working activities of the ranch as well as magical scenery of the Patagonian Steppe.
