This really is one of our favourite accommodations in all Brazil. Set in beautifully manicured tropical gardens, Toca da Coruja is hard to beat in terms of luxury and service. Wooden walkways lead through the leafy gardens to the various accommodations, the restaurant, the two pools and the poolside bar.

The accommodations are split into two types, the special bungalows, which are well appointed but slightly smaller, and the stunning luxury bungalows which come equipped with a private outdoor jacuzzi, walk in shower room and a large private veranda, all built in a colonial style.

Located on the outskirts of the village it is a few minutes walk to the nearest beach. However, the hotel's own Landrover will drop you at any of the nearby beaches with the minimum of fuss.
