The recently opened Casa Turquesa is the most luxurious hotel in Paraty. With just nine individually decorated suites and a pleasant pool area the pousada is located in the heart of the historical district near to the pier.

The building is originally 18th century but was damaged in a fire 30 years ago. It has since had a complete refurbishment retaining the colonial style of the area but to modern standards of luxury and comfort.

Each of the rooms is tastefully decorated and well appointed with air conditioning, flat screen televisions and large bathrooms.
