The north west of Argentina is a land quite unlike the rest of the country, this is a place where traditions and cultures have stayed the same for centuries.
A land of adobe churches, pink dusty streets, canyons, salt flats, vineyards and ancient cultures. You begin in the historic city of Salta itself, before venturing north to the Quebrada Humahuaca. Small towns nestle between multicoloured hills here whilst the Salinas Grandes salt flats can be visited to the west.
Then you travel down south through a spectacular landscape, where the journey itself is as much a pleasure as the final destination deep in Calchaqui Valley. After exploring here you travel further south to the Wine region of Cafayate to relax and sample some of Argentina's best wines in idyllic settings. You finish your trip with a short stay in Buenos Aires.
