Flight to Bariloche
Your guide will meet you in arrivals at Bariloche and bring you by private transfer to your hotel or lodge; check in for 3 nights.

3-4You have 2 full days to relax and explore the idyllic surrounds of the Lake District. We haven’t included any tours in this plan but there are many optional activities you can organise such as kayaking, trekking, island adventures, boat trips on the lakes. Exploring the region by car is also great fun and there are some especially scenic routes to follow (we can arrange for a rental or a private driver and car depending on your preference). There are also some particularly good restaurants in this part of Argentina and you’ll have our book of recommendations to help.

5Your guide will bring you back by Private transfer to Bariloche airport for your short flight further south to El Calafate
Your local private guide will meet you at the airport and bring you by private transfer to your hotel in the Glacier region. Check in for 3 nights.

6Your guide will meet you at the hotel and bring you for a full day private tour to see the amazing Perito Moreno glacier. Those wishing to be more adventurous could also try an optional ice trekking tour over the surface of the glacier itself.

7Today you’ll have an interesting adventure to see the largest (Upsala) glacier in the region by boat as you travel across to Estancia Cristina, here you’ll you take an adventure by 4x4 to see some simply stunning views of the rugged landscape as well as enjoying a delicious traditional lunch before returning back to Calafate in the early evening.

8Private transfer to El Calafate airport for your flight down to Ushuaia, the Southern-most city in the world.
Your private local guide will meet you at the airport and bring you to your hotel. Check in for 3 nights.

9You have an action-packed day of exploring today. Your private local guide will pick you up the morning to first of all take a boat trip across the famous Beagle channel, following in the (watery) footsteps of Charles Darwin on his expedition.
Next you’ll board the Austral Fuegino (also known as the train at the end of the world) a historic, narrow gauge steam train that will take you along a scenic route into the Lapataia National Park. Here you will explore further before heading back to your hotel in Ushuaia itself.

10Today you have a half day tour by boat to the Martillo island where there is a rookery of Magellan Penguins. You’ll have the opportunity to get up close and get some great pics. Once back to Ushuaia, you have the afternoon free to relax.

12Your guide will meet you for a private tour of the city so you can appreciate the rich history, architecture and culture of Buenos Aires.
In the evening, for your final night in Argentina you have a visit to the best Tango show in town, with dinner included.

13Private transfer to the international airport for your return flight home.
